Superb
I read the reviews and checked out a few TV's in different shops. Somehow I was always drawn to the Philips TVs - picture clarity I suppose. Took the plunge and haven't regretted it. The TV was a doddle to set up and even I worked out how to cable it to the DVD and BT Vision box - oh, and the Wii. Picture superb and sound surprisingly good. Star attraction is the ambilight which seems a bit gimmicky, but when I switch the ambilight off, the viewing experience is now all wrong. Ambilight does seems to make it a more easy viewing experience for your eyes and you find yourself drawn into a programme. Strange but brilliant.Glad I waited and very glad I bought this TV.

Great little LCD........
I bought this TV quite a while ago for the bedroom and have found it to be a quality purchase. The display is crisp and rich and the sound isn't half bad either. I used it as my PC monitor for a short period and again everything looked great. Web pages really came alive on this display. The menus are really easy to navigate and the remote control is pretty standard but very functional. It is wall mountable, but mine is sat on a chest of drawers and looks really good in the room.Overall, this is a slim and stylish LCD TV that serves its purpose well.

Love it!
I do wish I had the extra little bit of money for the ambilight version as someone who watches a lot of films, but either way this is a very sexy TV. There aren't many other companies out there that go the extra mile in making their TV sets look nice when switched off. The transparent trim is brilliant and adds a touch of class to the black box!8

Review for Philips 32PW9595 32" Real Flat 100Hz Widescreen TV Brown Leather:
The built in leather stand sounds crazy when you first hear about it but in actuality the casing is sophisticated rather than showy.
As you can tell, I love it

Great TV
I bought this TV just before Christmas as i wanted to hook up my PS3 so that i could enjoy the experience of the PS3 Blu-ray player. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the picture and the colours that this HD Ready TV shows. I have not noticed any picture judder whilst watching quick action movies or sport. The quality of this TV really comes into its own when hooked up to a PS3 or Blu ray player. The picture and sound qaulity are out of this world. I have since hooked the TV to a panasonic home cinema system which upscales ordinary DVD's to almost 1080i quality. This TV keeps surprising me with how good it is and has given my older DVD's a new lease of life. This is a definate improvement on the first generation of Philips Pixel Plus. SO if you want a great TV at a great price that really shows what a PS3 or Xbox 360 can do with games, or to simply watch TV or DVD's then this is the one for you.17

A real pain
I have had this set for 4 months and it regularly locks up once a month whereas you have to switch the set off for about a minute or so and then switch it on again before it works properly. I also have added other devices, recorders and players etc and find that working these devices you cannot alter the volume with the handset provided. With these devices i.e. DVD player etc. one has to use the TV control only which I find to be a real pain using two hand controls when I can usually use the one.The programming feature is also a pain to use. It is so antiquated and difficult to use when compared to other Japanese sets I have had.
The spacial sound is no different to mono sound and as for the ambilight feature you either like it or hate it. Just a gimick in my opinion.
My advice ----- buy a good japanese set.
I used to work for a Philips subsiduary and never did get on with Philips TV or Hi Fi and why I bought it I shall never know Maybe because I got mine cheap and now I can see why.
After 6 months of use the set takes longer and longer to get to its original coulour and brightness now a bout half an hour.
Now 12 months after purchase this set was left off for four days while I was away for Christmas, when I returned home this set now takes over an hour to reach anywhere near what was its original colour with all the presets set to maximum.
In the new year I am going out to see if I can buy another model and this time it WILL NOT be PHILIPS and it won't come from Curry's
