Review for Philips SBC RU940 Pronto 2mb Learning Remote Control:
I downloaded existing layouts from a web site which I then juggled to suit my own set up, it was quicker. There are loads of graphics on this site to give the layout a professional look. Ie for satellite viewing the button is basically the BBC1 graphic and the action is"1,0,1,select" (a macro, several functions with one push of the button). The signal is likely to be much stronger than the remotes it replaces. You can edit your set up quickly and easily at any time.

Phillips Pronto, extreme versatility
If you are prepared to sit down at the computer and build your own layouts using the supplied software the Pronto is the most versatile and capable remote you can buy.I downloaded existing layouts from a web site which I then juggled to suit my own set up, it was quicker. Erm.......
When i got the remote i thought wow i can rule my household with one 10inch long tazer, but then i remembered it was a remote.....The codes in the manual are of no use whatsoever, most electrical appliances in my home are Sony, cause lets face it, Sony rule!!! and my MD Hifi wasn't going to accept anything this remote was going to transmit at it apart from volume up! I have a Philips surround system plugged into my £1500 Hifi and the speakers are the best thing i bought after my NetMD (Sony again) so i thought the tazer would have no trouble getting to grips with one of its own kind. I WAS MISTAKEN!!!!
