Review for Philips 6271 Digital Cordless Telephone With Answering Machine:
Not at all shabby....
Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago, and thus far have been very pleased with it. The colour screen is a nice feature, and whilst I didn't buy it for that reason is actually quite good once you've got it. The handset is well put together and doesn't have that cheap plastic feel that some phones have. I found it quite easy to use, although I did have to navigate the manual to get it set up but I guess that's why it's there. Very pleased overall, just trying to find an additional handset to go with it now...66

Review for Philips 2253 Digital Cordless Telphone With Answering Machine Triple Pack:
Very poor phones
The earpiece of 1 handset did not work at all. The sound quality of the other handsets was poor, and the answerphone itself was so poor I couldn’t even recognise the voices of the people leaving messages. The displays are very difficult to read. No base station memory, and every handset has to have the memory input separately. Tried phoning Phillips on the number provided with the phone, but their response was"take it up with the supplier". I have! The only item I have ever bought from Amazon to be sent back.73
Review for Philips DECT6272 Digital Cordless Telephone With Answering Machine Twin Pack:
The colour screen has very large pixels. A normal Nokia mobile telephone has better looks and is easier to use than this.

Not a great Buy
I bought this phone recently and am somewhat disapointed. The menus are not easy to use, you need to program both handsets with all your numbers, the maximum ring volume is not loud enough, there is feedback between the mic and ear speaker, the menus are not too slick either. The colour screen has very large pixels. A normal Nokia mobile telephone has better looks and is easier to use than this.

Review for Philips Onis 300 Vox TU5351 with Answer Machine - Silver:
If you thing it would be cool to be able to send and receive texts as simply as you do from your mobile, think again, a series of SMS boxes are contained on the phone, why I not sure, you are required to subscribe to Bizzyline, who are they? ( Not much information about these people available ) no details of costs for sending SMS coupled with a complex method of sending and receiving makes it all seam a waste of time, I've tried to send texts to my own mobile and they have so far failed.
Overall a great phone with some excellent features but if its the SMS feature that drives you, you may be dissapointed.

Philips SMS Dect Answerphone.
This phone is well made and looks the part, straight out the box it is a little confusing to use, but with a little perseverance and referral to the manual all but the SMS functions are understandable. If you thing it would be cool to be able to send and receive texts as simply as you do from your mobile, think again, a series of SMS boxes are contained on the phone, why I not sure, you are required to subscribe to Bizzyline, who are they? Review for Philips Kala 200 VOX Digital Cordless Phone with Answering Machine in Silver:
Unfortunately, the user interface is about as clear as the markings on the Rosetta stone. Setting the simplest thing means delving into the badly organized and written instruction leaflet, to find you have to press the something symbol, then select 3, or squiggle, or push something twice, then stand on your head... I'm usually a technology freak, but after two years with this, I still can't reset the time without the instructions when it forgets it, which is frequently. Honestly, nothing I've ever bought has a worse interface than this.
I really like the slim and unobtrusive base station. I even quite like the ethereal ringtones. I don't like the (non-backlit) display though, and you won't like trying to program a number into it, or discover which arcane combination of keys lets you activate caller display. Never worked for me.
Bottom line: I replaced it with a Panasonic.

Utterly let down by the user interface
This could be a great phone. It's nicely made, has an interesting design, good sound quality, and a range of useful functions.Unfortunately, the user interface is about as clear as the markings on the Rosetta stone. Review for Philips Onis 300 Vox TU5352 with Additional Handset and Charger - Silver:
Voice quality is excellent, build quality is good and the central phone book is great. There is slow access to central functions such as phonebook but the delay is only about half a second so does not bother me too much.
Overall I would recommend this phone ( I also know 2 other owners who are happy with it).

Review for Philips Onis 300 Vox TU5352 with Additional Handset and Charger - Silver:
Excellent phone system
We bought this phone after trying and returning 2 other models of answerphone, all of which had unacceptable voice quality and echos, so we were relieved to find a phone that did not suffer these problems.Voice quality is excellent, build quality is good and the central phone book is great. There is slow access to central functions such as phonebook but the delay is only about half a second so does not bother me too much.
Overall I would recommend this phone ( I also know 2 other owners who are happy with it).

Great phone but seriously flawed
Great phone packed with lots of nice features like a universal phone book so you only have to enter your numbers one.BUT this phone has a serious flaw; it has a ridiculously small and fiddly control thing on the side that is used to control every thing on the phone. It makes this great little phone almost unusable!
I would not recommend this phone to anyone.
