Radio reception and tape recording

I wanted a small radio/cassette player for the kitchen where I like to record from the radio onto tapes. Unfortunately the bandwidth for Radios 4 and 3 is very narrow which makes tuning very difficult. Reception and sound quality not good. I haven't used the CD function. It's probably good all-round value for the price but it doesn't work well for the purpose I wanted it for.

I think that this product is brilliant for the price of it.

I think that this cd player has as many functions as needed to play a cd and has very good sound quality. I think it is good because you can play cdr's which is good if you make your own compilations on your computer. I think that the design looks good and is better than others because it doesnt have writing all over it. I think overall it is brilliant

This thing is terrible. Looks really good Ill give it that, But it has no display so you have no idea what track you're on, volume levels generally anything! The only way you can see this is by plugging in the remote (which is another issue ill get on to). I am forever consulting the manual to figure out what Im doing, which to be honest you really shouldnt have to do with a cd player. The strap/ case thing is a good idea, but a pain to get the thing in and out of it.
The remote is held onto clothing with magnets, which is a good idea and really works, this is about the only redeaming feature. The control uses a stick device, which is absolutly useless, no matter what your trying to do youll end up on pause permanently.
Fortunatly I got this cheap. Avoid it like the plague though.

Poor (doesnt even deserve 1star)

Poor battery length i ran once with fresh £4+batteries on, half volume didnt even get 500meters up the road before the batteries died on me! difficult to operate without looking at buttons, too many buttons, some buttons cant press because hands free material covers them, cant open dist with hands free case on, speakers broke/wires came out, wires 2 fidelly, bulky to run with around my waist, lost magnet within 2days, cable to goes round waist gets itchy when sweating, not able to purchase anymore disks from ANY shops, keeps coming up with"unable to read disk" when i open then close the lid it then plays :-/, sometimes when running it comes up with"unable to read disk" and because ive got it around waist i have 2 take it off then open & close it then put it back round me very silly, so have to stop crap peice of technolgy, stick with mp3/cd players/ipods or sumit decent, very poor, dissapointed.
