Great player so easy to use, good sound, do not use ear phones supplied, but treated myself to Sennheiser PX100 about 3 years ago to use with ipod and CD player these give a better richer sound.6

Christmas present for my mother
The delivery was great and the product even better. My mother wanted something that would play CD's, Tapes and had a radio. In fact the product also has an MP3 socket too, so better than expected.Good product, great service. Overall extremely pleased.

Review for Nike ACT400 MP3 CD Player:
Remote has no track number while playing
Volume must be raised at main unit each time a C.D is played
Batteries hard to remove [U.S version]
Headphones have poor bass, as ear-bud designs generally do
Huge battery consumption [see stats above]
Headphone rubber guards come off easy, expect to lose at least one
On the plus side:
It looks great and is easy to operate
You can get new headphones and plug them into the in-line remote
A stopped track will resume [play] from stop point
Loud and clear sound
Unskippable, apparently... that may explain the high battery usage
The composite magnetic in-line remote clips are great
That's about it.
If someone has a manual and can help with the 1st point, post it up.
Thanx.

Review for AX2330 - Philips Personal CD Player:
a battery eater
This product has a reasonably good sound quality and a few features that are useful such as the jogproof design. However the main problem (and my reason for this review) is with the battery power. When i first started to use the cd player the batteries only lasted for about a day and that was it. It would play about two average length albums before running out of power. I tried different batteries but the result was the same: it eats the battery power very quickly. A year later it gets worse. The batteries now last about 25 minutes. I used to have a cassette walkman about ten years ago and the batteries would last for several hours. Your best bet if you were to buy this product, is to purchase a battery charger and a huge stack of rechargable batteries. Then buy a large bag to carry them all in because you'll be changing the batteries several times on your journey.1-20

just ok
This does NOT have a headphone socket as stated in this review. The older version AZ1022 does but this one has an MP3 connection instead. I bought this model specifically so my daughter could listen through headphones so was obviously disappointed and surprised that it didn't have connection. Will have to try and get hold of old model now.Apart from this is standard rather flimsy cheap cd cassette. Ok for the money.
