Just wait until you need to burn a DVD or CD.

I bought this after the DVD burner on my pc stopped working. Installed fine and I was watching DVDs within minuets of opening the box. This was fine for about a month or so, until I tried actually burning a DVD. I've burned numerous DVD videos using this drive, each one plays so jerky it's completely unwatchable. Most DVD players don't even recognise the disc. When I tried to burn a data DVD it turns out only this drive will read it. I've tried this on numerous PCs and DVD players, I have tested with a variety of different DVDs and get the same results each time, the DVD player will struggle for a while to read the disc and eventually comes up with an error message. I used to burn DVDs all the time and had absolutely no problems with my old drive until it stopped working, so I know that there is nothing wrong with software I use and there is nothing wrong with the DVDs I have been using.

To sum up, avoid this drive at all cost.
