Amazing bit of kit, good price
I didn't realise how cheap decent CD writers are. This was easy to install, no problems with the software, looks good, solid tray, just can't fault it at all. If you're still writing at 4x like I was, a little expense can improve things no end. Oh - one tiny gripe is that the Nero software only works as part of the bundle - it has to be upgraded at cost to be used with any other writer.

The remote control is not an added luxury but rather the system cannot operate without it, which was not made clear in the item description. Others may not be bothered by this but I found the addition of another item plus thick black cables on my desktop impractical and bothersome.
Overall this a disappointing birthday present and I shall be sending it back. The sound may be brilliant but the constant buzz takes away any enjoyment; definitely not worth the price!

Disappointing!
The sound quality is excellent and the whole thing looks quite good, however there is a constant low hum from the subwoofer when the system is on, which is not only incredibly annoying but is even audible when music is playing.The remote control is not an added luxury but rather the system cannot operate without it, which was not made clear in the item description. Cheap but very cheerful!
I needed a cheap and basic set of PC speakers and after looking about found these by Philips. Argos are selling them at £19.99 which is a bargain and I have been very impressed by them!- The sound quality is very good
- They are perfect for a PC
- They go to a loud enough volume
- The sub produces a nice clean bass, which is actually quite loud too
- Looks good too
- Has an EU main adaptor too I think
All in all, a very good, simple speaker set for your PC!
