not the whole package
quite easy to assemble and install .. copied an existing cd no problem .. and wrote a new cd faster than the factory fitted writer in my pc .. arrived in the original box .. (not very secure) with no bubble wrap or similar to absorb any shock from handling by the couriers .. so cannot comment further until thoroughly tested3
Review for Philips SBA290 Portable Speaker System:
The disadvantage is that the speakers use 6 AAA batteries rather than the usual 4 AA. It does come with an adaptor, however, so that it very very useful. A buy really really worth it.

Fantastic!
If you're considering looking for speakers for your mp3 player, then this is the one! The sound quality is actually fantastic, even at high volumes. The look is sleek and it comes with a case to protect it's shiny body. The disadvantage is that the speakers use 6 AAA batteries rather than the usual 4 AA. It does come with an adaptor, however, so that it very very useful. A buy really really worth it.

Review for Philips MMS460 Surround Sound PC Speakers 5.1:
Some bad points, The blue LED on the centre sub is BRIGHT but can be coverd by tape and is fine in the light. You do need a true 5.1 sound card (3 seperate sockets instead of the standard headphone socket (same type)).
Please stop looking and buy these you will not regret it!

Fairplay!
Where to start? These speakers are loud without loosing any quality. if your looking for quality bass these are perfect, at 1/3volume the sub vibrates my room etc..! They are small and stylish with easy connections. The bass can be adjusted seperatly making playing music at night less annoying for neighbours. Some bad points, The blue LED on the centre sub is BRIGHT but can be coverd by tape and is fine in the light. These were rubbish! Sound distorts above half volume, which wasn't much louder that a mobile phone speaker. Tried listening to them in the car whlie driving on the motorway and couldn't hear anything. Set them back for a refund. I suggest you save yourself the hassle by not buying them in the first place! The search for decent protable speakers goes on...

Review for Philips SPC610NC/00 Webcam:
The software is almost non existant but on Windows XP it should work plug and play. Drivers are included.
The camera has grainy image in low light but the inbuilt lamp works. The lamp can be turned of physically so there is no need to fiddle around with software or bluetack as on most other models.
Great build quality.

Good Looking Camera.
The Philips SPC 610NC is a nice webcam. The USB Cord is a little short but is not a problem if you have a notebook or a monitor with inbuilt USB.The software is almost non existant but on Windows XP it should work plug and play. Drivers are included.

Great, super, smashin!
Very pleased with this speaker set-up. Lots of oomph, great bass, great sound. My PC now sounds much better than my considerably-more-expensive home hi-fi system. As other reviewers have said, my only *slight* niggle is that the satellites could do with being a tad more powerful. Apart from that, I cannot fault these speakers and would highly recommend them.13

Review for Philips SPA3200/00 Multimedia Speaker 2.0:
Truly Dreadful
Maybe I expect too much for £25 or so from a big player like Philips. These are such a disappointment I cannot possibly recommend them, at best they're a triumph of style over function, big blue LED on the front, hey why why would anyone want sound quality? It says on the box 'Bass Boost Technology' for deep rich Bass - you have got to be joking. If that's boosted, I would hate to imagine what they'd be like without the 'deeper richer bass' - than what is the question?Pass on this pile of junk would be my advice.

Review for Philips SPC 1300NC/00 Webcam:
It's touted as having upto 90fps, which is only possible at low resolution, it only allowed me to select 90fps in MSN and skype. I was able to select 60fps through the Philips vlounge software at 640x480, although it only felt and seemed like 30fps when I moved around in front of the webcam.
Sadly the image quality is poor compared to most Logitech webcams and appears heavily interpolated in an attempt to get a smoother picture.
Colour balance and saturation also appeared poor (Even with my"Daylight" bulbs indoors)in anything but daylight. I also tested the webcam over MSN with a friend and it kept going dark and then returning to a brigther picture. He reported the framerate was particularly slow (even though we both have 4mb broadband).
The only reasonable aspect I encountered was the face tracking which seemed smoother (although slower) than the Logitech webcams I have used.
All in all I have been disappointed with what on paper seemed like a winner and I returned it and will probably go for one of the newer Logitechs like the Logitech Sphere AF (since my older Sphere MP worked quite well).

Disappointing quality and performance
I bought this after reading some reviews ( and having used a couple of high-end Logitech webcams) and had high hopes... unfortunately I have been very disappointed. It's touted as having upto 90fps, which is only possible at low resolution, it only allowed me to select 90fps in MSN and skype. I was able to select 60fps through the Philips vlounge software at 640x480, although it only felt and seemed like 30fps when I moved around in front of the webcam.

Review for Philips MMS321/05 Multimedia Speaker 2.0:

Good camera, very poor stand
Despite promises of a secure stand that can be used with desktop monitors or laptops I was not able to get the camera to fit securely anywhere. The hinge on the stand was loose and the weight of the cable was enough to move it.From my limited use the picture quality seemed to be very good and responded well to varying light levels. The sound quality from the microphone was adequate though not exceptional.
However after a couple of days I became so frustrated with the useless stand that I returned it to Amazon for a refund.
